Description
 
Improve your sense of direction with the AIM 205 Series. As a precise flight instrument with a low drift rate, the AIM 205 is designed to provide pilots with a constant azimuth reference, free from the instability inherent in magnetic compasses. A high-speed electric rotor, universally mounted in a gimbal system, maintains angular momentum to overcome normal bearing friction, and establishes a gyroscopically-stable datum reference relative to space.
 
Features
  • Azimuth motions of the aircraft indicated on the circular vertical dial, which is graduated in 5 degree increments from 0 to 360 degrees
  • 3" Bezel mounted from the front or rear in shock-mounted panels
  • Input power: 28 volt DC
  • Standard display includes failure warning flag that displays if primary power drops below a preset value
  • TSO-C5c & C5e
  • Internaly Lighted
