Engine Monitor: The MVP-50 replaces over 15 engine instruments and 50 functions in a single full color glass panel display. The MVP-50 features pilot-programmable colors, ranges, limits and a voice alarm for each instrument displayed. The instant a function reaches its programmed limit, the display will blink red or yellow, an external warning light will blink and a voice warning will be activated. The pilot does not have to continually scan a panel full of gauges looking for a possible problem. Also, the MVP-50 incorporates the most powerful engine analyzer on the market. The Bar Graph and Digital Engine Analyzer incorporate many new advanced diagnostic features to help insure engine health and proper operation.

In-Flight Information System: The MVP-50 provides many “Flight Data Screens” to reduce cockpit clutter and pilot workload. Some of these screens are: Fuel Management, Timers, Clocks and Date, Weight and Balance, Data Recording, Checklists (Start, Taxi, Run-up with Mag Drop, Take Off, Landing, Emergency and more), Flight Plans (VFR, IFR, Weather Data and more), General Information (Aircraft Performance, Engine Diagnostics, VASI Lights, VFR Minimums, Altitude Table, Light Gun Signals, Transponder Codes, Frequencies and more), and other screens. The pilot easily can generate custom screens and download them through the USB port.

Hardware: All of the probes and transducers are connected to the EDC (Engine Data Converter). This small box (4.5" x 3.5" x 2.2") converts all engine data to serial data, which is then provided to the MVP-50 via two wires. This reduces installation time and the wire bundle to the instrument panel by over 100 wires. The EDC can interface with any probe or transducer. The MVP-50 provides a USB port to upload Check Lists, Flight Plans, Gen Info, Configuration Data, Software Upgrades and New Features.

Features and Specifications:

Hardware Configuration:
All of the probes, transducers and extension cables are connected to a small box (4.5" x 3.5" x 2.2") called the EDC (Engine Data Converter). The EDC can be mounted on the inside firewall of the aircraft. The EDC converts all engine data to serial data, which is then provided to the MVP-50 via two wires. This configuration makes installation much easier by reducing the wires to the instrument panel and eliminating the installation of many individual instruments.

Remarkable Data Recording: .33 second to 6 minute intervals. Stores over 3,330 hours at 30 second intervals! Data is downloaded via USB Memory Stick. The Downloads can then be analyzed using the EGView Software (no conversion required).

* New functions can be uploaded through the USB port as they become available.

Kits:
Complete kits are available for any engine and most aircraft functions. A kit will include pressure transducers, temperature probes, RPM pick-ups, extension cables, flow transducer, shunt and pre-wired connectors. Any special probes can be accommodated through any of the EDC inputs and the MVP-50 configuration screen.
