Remote mounted Directional gyro for use in KCS-305A compass system
 
Features
  • Slaved directional gyro for use in KCS-305 compass system
  • Typically used in conjunction with KMT-112 flux valve and KA-51A/B slaving accessory
  • With KMT-112 and KA-51A/B this unit will provide heading information for any standard ARINC Autopilot or Flight Director System as well as heading cards on both Pictorial Navigation Indicators (PNI) and RMIs
  • Has dual ARINC type synchro transmitters which are mechanically positioned for alignment by a stepper motor
  • Tracks the true or slaved magnetic heading in 1/4 degree increments
  • Allows manual slaving and monitoring of system's performance through pilot-operated controls
  • 115 vac, 400 Hz
  • TSO'd
